1.
Enrollment into your chosen Chinese
language university
We will prepare and
submit your application to your chosen language university.
Our staff will ensure that you are updated on the status
of your application from start to finish. A university
application fee of 50-75 USD will be included with this
service package.
2.
Visa application support
We will mail out
(via express post) documents necessary for you to acquire
a study visa from
the Chinese embassy in your country:
- The university
admission letter
- Visa application
form (JW202 or JW201 form)
3.
Accommodation arrangements
Room reservations will be made on your
behalf at your chosen accommodation.
Before your arrival in China, we will confirm your accommodation booking with the appropriate party.
Should the need arise (for example, if you change your date
of arrival into China, or, change your mind regarding where
you want to stay), we will make necessary changes to your
accommodation reservation booking, or switch to another
accommodation option prior to your departure from home.
4. Living in China information guidance
All students will be given a copy of the China
Unipath Student Handbook, which provides you with comprehensive
orientation information guiding you through every stage
of your study abroad experience.
In addition to the handbook, a color map of Beijing in English and Pin Yin will show all-important bus and subway routes as well as places of interest to enrich your Chinese cultural experience.
You will also be given an emergency message card with both English and Chinese instructions leading the taxi driver to your accommodation.
We will provide various Beijing city magazine publications showing you insiders' views of life in Beijing and the latest information on 'What's On' in the city.
The above guidance materials will be mailed out via express
post to you along with the visa application documents.

1. Airport pick-up and drop-off & Accommodation check-in and check-out
Be warmly greeted by China Unipath staff at the Beijing
Capital Airport upon your arrival, which is especially important
in a foreign city where you are unfamiliar with the spoken
language and surroundings. Our staff will provide an introduction
to Beijing geography, climate, culture, nightlife as well
as Chinese study and university campus life. We will then
escort you to your chosen accommodation and provide assistance
for check-in and making accommodation payment.
Upon the completion of your program, we will assist you in
checking out of your accommodation. We will also arrange necessary
transportation and escort you to Beijing Capital Airport to
assure your safety and punctuality of your departure from
China.
2. Campus tour
Be accompanied on a walkthrough around the campus
and surrounding area by China Unipath staff to help you settle
in. We will introduce you to the classroom buildings, library,
sports facilities, on-/off-campus banks for currency exchange,
ATMs that accept international credit/debit cards, recommended restaurants,
popular bars and nightclubs on or close to the campus, supermarket,
laundry, post office, on-campus hospital and the nearest subway
station.
3. Registration assistance
Our staff will walk you through every step of the
registration procedure and assist you in properly handling
the required payments for both accommodation and tuition,
as well as obtaining your student ID and other associated
paperwork for you.
You will be shown the placement test location
and advised of the procedure and possible forms of placement
tests. We will assist you in setting up your broadband access
internet account through an internet provider on campus, if
necessary.
You will be escorted to your classroom on
the first day of class.
4. Orientation material package
We will provide all of the following items as a special orientation
package for you:
- A good quality bicycle
with a solid lock (click
here to view picture). The bicycle is considered
as the most convenient and economic vehicle for daily
short-distance traveling. We will assist you with bicycle
maintenance, if needed. (Please note: A small
deposit will be required. This amount will be refunded
to you in full when the bicycle and lock is returned to
China Unipath in their original condition upon your program's
completion.)
- A fully functional cell phone
for your time abroad in China (click
here to view picture). (Please note: A

- A China
network sim card for use with your cell phone.
This sim card will be able to answer international calls,
and send and receive international SMS. (Please note:

- Your own personalized
name cards for your all-important socializing
and networking convenience in China.
5. Special flight & train ticket discounts
Should you plan to travel in or out of China during or after
your program, China Unipath can provide you with a comprehensive
flight and train ticket purchasing service with competitive
after-discount special rates. All you need to do is to tell
us your itinerary and schedule and we will acquire a ticket
that will help you minimize your travel budget.

English Teaching Opportunity

|
International students studying in China
often wish to seek employment as an English tutor to earn
some extra pocket money on the side, as well as use it as
a chance to maximize their interaction with local Chinese.
China Unipath can arrange a paying English
teaching job for you in Beijing at no commission and at no
extra cost. However, in order to successfully arrange this
for you, the following conditions apply:
- You are an English native speaker.
- If you are not an English native speaker, but you
feel that your English is fluent enough to teach, then
you must send us a copy of a certificate that proves
your English proficiency level or English teaching ability.
We will use this to make an assessment of whether or
not you are eligible to tutor.
- You are enrolled in a study program for a duration of
at least four months or more.
- You inform us of your interest in an English teaching
position at least one month prior to your arrival
in China. We will then make the necessary arrangements to
guarantee you a tutoring job within 40 days after your arrival
in China.
- If you inform us of your interest in an English
teaching position after your arrival in China, we can
only guarantee you a tutoring job within the following
three months' time.

1. Orientation dinner
Be officially greeted with a full scrumptious dinner
serving a variety of authentic Chinese local cuisines after
your arrival. This will also be the first of several opportunities
to socialize with other China Unipath students.
2. One-day Beijing guided tour
On a particular chosen day, you will receive a
one-day Beijing guided tour. Have the preference to visit
the most well-known tourism sites, i.e. Forbidden City,
Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, Beijing Hu Tong. Our
staff will accompany you throughout the tour and be your
free guide. The actual itinerary arrangements (including
the date, the route and the spots to visit) are all entirely
up to you and other program participants. Our staff will
provide advice and be the event coordinator during the preparation
period.
3. Beijing Duck feast
Feast on an authentic Beijing Roast Duck dinner
at a reputable duck restaurant in Beijing. You will be able
to exchange and share study experiences
in Beijing with other program participants. (Vegetarian
students will be served proper food as they prefer.)
4. Chinese teahouse tour
Be introduced to Chinese tea culture in a tour to a top
class teahouse in Beijing, where the exquisite ancient environment
will bring you thousands of years back into Chinese history.
Be audience to the famous tea serving ceremony as well as
